Reservations

What do I need to book?

You need to hold a valid driving license and leave a deposit of 100 Euros in cash or credit card. You need to be over 18 years old and hold a driving license. There is no maximum age limit for driving.

In my reservation is insurance included?

Yes, the final price of the tour already includes the value of the insurance. However, if there is any damage to the vehicle that is your responsibility, you will lose the entire amount of the deposit.

Can I book more than one car?

Yes, through our reservation platform, you can book up to a maximum of 10 cars.

How can I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation without penalty up to 24 hours before the tour, so you should send an email: [email protected]
In the case of group tours, reservations must be canceled earlier.

Can I change the time or day of my reservation after confirmation?

You can request to change your reservation by email or telephone. If there is availability, the same will be changed and sent a new confirmation email.

How old do I need to be to book a Twizy?

You need to be over 18 years old and hold a driving license. There is no maximum age limit for driving.

Can I take a child?

Yes, but it should be over 4 years old and at the time of your reservation, you should request a special seat.

Do you deliver the vehicles to different places?

Yes, at the time of your reservation, you can ask, upon availability and the extra payment of 10 Euros, that the car be delivered to your hotel. The Pick-up is also included in the price.

About Twizy

How is this car?

Twizy is a safe car, equipped with airbags and seat belts. It’s 100% electric so when you’re driving you do not pollute the environment.

How do you drive it?

Twizy is a 100% electric, fully automatic car. It only has an accelerator and brake so it is very easy to drive.

What is the autonomy of the car?

The Twizy has a range of 75 km.

How many people does this car take?

Twizy can only accommodate 2 people.

Can I take my newborn child in the car?

No. For safety reasons, it is not possible to carry babies.

Can I carry 1 adult and 2 children in the back seat?

No. For safety reasons, Twizy can only carry 2 people.

What’s it like riding in the backseat? Does the passenger have visibility?

Yes, although small the Twizy is a spacious car. An adult with an average weight of 100kg, a height of 1.95m can sit in the backseat. The windows are large so it has a lot of visibility.

Is there room for luggage?

There is some space for small handbags or backpacks. But it is not possible to carry trolleys or other luggage.

Do the cars have heating or air conditioning?

No, the Twizy does not have an air conditioning system. But in the winter, you can request blankets and the placement of windows upon availability when you book the tour.

Tours

How can I get a tour?

You can buy your tour through our website, or directly in our store.

Can I extend the time of my tour after the start?

Yes, it is possible, but you must inform us of your intention, and the delivery of the vehicle will be charged the value of the overtime.

If I get stuck in transit and arrive later than the contracted time, will I be penalized?

All the tours were made with sufficient time to be able to travel all the way with maximum comfort and without haste. There is still time to stop according to the suggestions. Live Electric Tours is not responsible for traffic, cut roads, or route changes.

What happens if I get lost?

All tours are programmed in GPS so you can get to know the city with maximum comfort without getting lost. If you have any difficulties we are always available through telephone contact.

I bought a tour, but I changed my mind and I want to go to another place of interest, can I do it?

Yes. The car is equipped with free internet, so you can use other means of navigation besides the GPS installed in the car. You should only be careful to deliver the vehicle in the contracted period.

I was out of battery during the tour and now?

According to the rental terms, our tours are programmed for maximum optimization of Twizy’s electric battery. If you run out of battery power, you will be responsible for the administrative costs of the towing service.

Can I stop during the tour?

Yes, at the beginning of each tour, you receive a map with stop suggestions. If you want to stop anywhere else you are free to do so.

Can I park anywhere during the tour?

Yes. In Lisbon, you can park in all authorized places and you will not have to pay for parking.

How does the audio guide work?

The Gps audio guide helps you drive in a safe and effective way around the city, so you enjoy the time in the best way. There is a personal tourism assistant who tells you the best tips about the city.

If I run out of GPS and are late for my return?

You should drive quietly and notify our services by telephone.

What if during my tour there are cut roads or traffic inhibitions?

At the beginning of your tour, you will always be given additional information if there are any scheduled traffic restrictions so that you can use alternatives.

Can I go to auto roads or cross bridges during my tour?

No. It is not allowed to ride with this type of vehicle on bridges, highways or fast roads. If you do, you will be penalized by the authorities.

Problems

Should I have an accident during the tour?

You should remain calm and in the event of a major accident, call 112 first. In no case should you blame yourself. You should call our customer support services who will help you solve the whole situation.

Am I liable for damage to the vehicle?

Yes, if the accident is your responsibility. However, there is a deposit of 100 Euros that protects you from any damages. The value of the tour already includes the value of the insurance.

What happens if you are caught by the police to make an infraction?
